what a teacher does

Teachers dont often get the credit that they deserve. They are underpaid, overworked, have to fight for new textbooks and arts programs. They are doing more than babysitting 30-40 kids all week. I know that my teachers have helped me immensely. They've encouraged me when I was down on myself, inspired me to do my best. Think of the teachers that you have had? Think of how much work they have done for you?

In my creative writing class we watched a teacher give a slam poem what teachers make. you should watch it too.

anything but...

i am working on anything other than the paper and other homework that is due tomorrow. I have been google mapping the distance of various places from Siena Italy. i really want to visit the island of Elba where Napoleon was exiled to. i love that name Napoleon. would it be bad if i named one of my children Napoleon? I have also been looking up cheap flights form Pisa to whatever locals Ryanair offers. Where Rhodes...oh ya Greece just got that. I know this paper wont take me that long i have already written an outline. i really just dont want to put any thought into it. I should though its over a month late and my prof is still letting me turn it in for full credit. im such a bumb. I love facebook stalking myself. is that narcissistic of me? I wonder how close google maps can zoom in...pretty close, i can see the lawn chairs on the beach next to Marina di Pisa. Oh man i will do anything to besides working on my ONE page single spaced paper. Clipped my finger nails. Should i take nail polish with me to italy? i wonder if i can take toothpaste on the plane? i sure hope so. What if i sit next to some obese man that keeps farting (dont doubt, its happened before) sick! Where should i travel after my program? South or North? Im pretty sure im going to stay in Italy. Oh man i cant wait. Okay i need to work on my paper now.....after i organize my food cupboard, deceid what i can make for dinner for the next two weeks and go to the grocery store to buy milk and cereal. Then i WILL work on my paper. hopefully.

the good'ole days

when i went home my mother thought it would be fun to pull out or baby books and all the projects she kept from when i was just a tiny tot in school. it brought back some good memories. i died laughing when i saw an autographed picture by some old guys. i though it was something of my moms she slipped in there, turns out i was in their friendship club. creepy. some early poetry works...probably the only poetry i will ever write. its rather funny. look how cute i was as a child!

home for the weekend

So last weekend i got to go home for my brother Daniels baptism (he turned 8 on the March 25) it was really nice to go home and to see my family and see my brother take the first step to returning to Heavenly Father. it was so great to be with my family and have some else cook delicious meals for me (thanks grampy). i wont be see this clan again until the middle of the summer. WHEN I GET BACK FROM ITALY!!!!

lex and i ventured over to Sammy's for their ihappi promo concert. it was so much fun. i love partying with this fun and spunky girl. she was getting so much attention for her schveet dance moves.



we saw mindy gledhill first. she is so cute and so good. i love her music. check out her new music video for Anchor.



we also saw the neighbors for like the fifth time. they are such a cute brother sister duo. and adam kaiser a very attractive man who likes to write on lex's wall
